Hey Guys. I got behind for a day or two in the reading. I had the chance to catch up on Sunday. I read from John 18 to Acts 11 that day. Phew, that was a lot.

The stoning of Stephen in Acts 7 was gripping. Crazy that it was such a simple thing for the Jewish leaders to murder people. That is amazing.

Acts 5:41. One of my all time favorite verses and one that I hope I can exemplify one day. "The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name." WOW! I may suffer disgrace for the Name, but how will I handle it? In the US, we tend to think that God isn't paying attention to us if something bad happens. May it not be so with us!

I, too, got a little behind, but was able to catch up today (Monday the 21st) by reading Acts 6-16. Because of our Carpet Adventure we have been going through books. We have way too many books for the space we have. I found some Bibles and NTs that I have had for ages. One of the NTs has pictures to illustrate the content scattered throughout. I think the second time through the NT this year I will read that one. I found some heavy duty Bible study books, like a Greek-English Lexicon, Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words, etc. Anyone interested in having them? If not, they are going bye-bye.

I totally think they would fit in the Century library. :)
