I always enjoy Acts 12. I think I enjoyed it more today than ever. I would love to sit with the people that were there and listen as they fill in the details.
When it says James was killed with the sword, was this what we think of as the gladiators type scenario? Is that what they were planning to do to Peter too? Or was all that only in Rome? Was this just an execution? Do any of you young students of history and the Bible know?
What was your favorite book on the 1st read-through?

These stories of Paul's missionary journeys are some of my favorites in the Bible.
